President Rodrigo Duterte Called North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un ‘A Fool And A Son of a Bitch’
Kim Jong Un, a young North Korean leader, made a dangerous threat against United States of America to launch nuclear attack at Guam if the U.S. grows “more reckless.” Guam is an island in Micronesia in the Pacific Ocean that is part of the United States.
Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, who is chairman of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN), described North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as a “fool” and a “son of a bitch.” The president said, “this Kim Jong Un, a fool … he is playing with dangerous toys, that fool.”
Duterte is concerned about the nuclear threat. He said, “that chubby face that looks kind. That son of a bitch. If he commits a mistake, the Far East will become an arid land. It must be stopped, this nuclear war. A limited confrontation and it blows up here, I will tell you, the fallout can deplete the soil, the resources and I don’t know what will happen to us.”
In a blog post of Mr. Alon Calinao Dy, he said, “nuclear weapons can kill millions of people. In fact there’s one study that said the combination of nuclear weapons of Russia and United States could kill all the people in the world.”
The President is concerned about the North Korea’s threat to bomb Guam, a US territory, where 40 percent of the population are Filipinos according to Norman Analista, the president of the Filipino Community of Guam.
Duterte is worried about Kim Jong un who’s playing with dangerous toys like the nuclear weapons that can reach to most of the country in the world and that can destroy millions of innocent human lives. The president is not only concerned about Filipinos, but all the people around the globe who can be the victims of what he called “dangerous toys.”
People from around the world saw the devastating effects of two consecutive nuclear weapons on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945. That was years ago. But now the most recent nuclear weapons generally have much greater explosive power than those first two bombs, and would greatly increase the scale of the devastation.
Nuclear war is so destructive, it has no victors in every war. It already killed thousands or millions of innocent people in the previous war and now the history repeats itself. If possible, let’s all remain calm and promote the word PEACE because the word WAR only means DESTRUCTION to human lives and the world we live in.
