Senator Antonio Trillanes IV Received 245 Million Pesos ‘Ghost Projects’ Under Aquino Administration
It’s now clear the reason why Senator Antonio Trillanes IV wanted to remove President Rodrigo Duterte from his post because he has alleged corruption of 245 million pesos under Aquino administration. The group Coalition Investigation and prosecution exposed the corruption of Trillanes from Disbursement Acceleration Program or DAP when Noynoy Aquino was still a president.
According to the group of atty. Greco Belgica, Trillanes received 245 million pesos “ghost projects” under the previous administration. This is probably one of the reasons why he opposed to Duterte’s program to expose all those government officials about their anomalies.
In a blog post of Mr. Alon Calinao Dy, he said, “I think Trillanes already knew that he might end up to be jail because of his corruption aside from many bank accounts he had in several countries like Singapore, Hongkong, US, China, and other countries.”
Netizens also extended their support to Duterte administration, saying that the administration should thoroughly investigate the illegal activities of Senator Trillanes. If Trillanes be found guilty of corruption, Filipinos have the rights to go after him especially the authorities.
It’s not the first time that Trillanes had been involved of corruption when netizens said that he tried to sell parts of the Philippine islands to China without the knowledge of common Filipinos.
Trillanes may be one of the richest senators in the Philippines, but I think Filipinos would not let the senator go like this. At least Filipinos who support the present regime and hate corrupt politicians should do something about it. It’s the right of every Filipino to defend the country from these corrupt politicians who stole people’s money from our taxes.
Being a citizen of this country, I think it’s the duty of everyone to go after Trillanes. And so if this senator can still do his illegal activities, every Filipino, who loves this country and considered a hero, would not let this alleged crook spread his criminal activities.
