Senator Antonio Trillanes IV Wants To Deactivate Duterte Supporters’ Facebook Accounts
I guess the HARDtalkinterview by Stephen Sackur with Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, makes it HARD for the senator to accept the fact that he became the dumbest guy since he didn’t understand the question.
In a blog post of Mr. Alon Calinao Dy, he said, “I think Mr. Trillanes is looking for the opportunity to make himself proud in front of the people around the world. Instead of spotlight, it became a disaster.”
I think it is true that throughout his public life, he has been seeking the global fame, but Trillanes knew nothing about the questions of BBC host Sackur, the interviewer got it right when he said “no one does it quite like Rodrigo Duterte….”
I don’t like to hear some reports that Trillanes is now asking the assistance of Facebook and Google companies to deactivate those Duterte supporters, but I don’t think it would happen since a lot of Duterte supporters have Facebook and Google accounts, and it’s not good for their business. My question is, who are you Trillanes to make such demands. anyway?
If the reports are true that Trillanes is now asking to deactivate those Facebook accounts of Duterte supporters, I guess the two giant companies, Facebook and Google, could suffer a massive financial loss. It’s hard to believe that it would happen, and I believe that Mr. Trillanes is a master of lies like what he did to BBC’s HARDtalk who disappointed his countrymen and president with embarrassment.
It was really disappointing that a Filipino political figure didn’t even know how to answer Sackur’s simple questions. Yes, the interview was a disaster since Trillanes spoke what according to his own opinions but not the Filipinos’ desires to make this country a better place for everyone.
